Gloucester Rugby has appointed Square in the Air to help boost its national press coverage.

We will be working in tandem with the club’s existing Media department to provide a regular stream of news and feature ideas.

One of England’s top rugby union sides, Gloucester Rugby play in the Aviva Premiership. They also compete in the Anglo-Welsh LV= Cup and have qualified for the latter stages of European Rugby’s Amlin Challenge Cup this season.

“As an agency, we continue to go from strength to strength,” said Square in the Air managing director Bill Esdaile. “Securing a deal with a client like Gloucester Rugby demonstrates that we are well-placed to further expand our portfolio in sport.”

Stephen Vaughan, Gloucester Rugby Managing Director (pictured below), said: “Gloucester Rugby’s future looks extremely healthy and I’m delighted to have a top PR agency onboard to help us continue our development.

“It’s an exciting time to be a part of the club. The new era has begun well on the field and has been supported by a strong set of financial figures off it.”
