Brief: When social betting football app EveryFan launched in summer 2016, they turned to Square in the Air to help them score national exposure, and raise their profile ahead of the season.
Result: SITA delivered coverage across B2C and B2B titles, including national newspapers, sports websites, and industry publications.
After undertaking an extensive survey of 2,000 football fans using Opinium, SITA used the results to create a number of infographics about the typical football supporting experience. These graphics, which included finding the ‘EveryFan’, discovering the average distances fans travel to games, and whether fans prefer watching from their armchairs to terraces, helped EveryFan secure coverage in a range of titles, including MailOnline, The Sun, Daily Telegraph and Daily Express.
Alongside ArsenalFanTV, SITA also led a video campaign to discover how much Arsenal fans know about rivals Tottenham, and how far they were willing to go to avoid putting on a Spurs shirt. The video generated over 140,000 views on YouTube, as well as over 700 likes on Facebook.
SITA drafted thought leadership pieces, Q&As and news stories, which received coverage in key B2B publications across the industry, including eGaming Review, Gaming Intelligence, SBC, Intergame and Betting Business.
This level of activity helped EveryFan kick-off the app with the maximum possible exposure, reaching thousands of football fans across the UK and worldwide.
