Square in the Air have helped spread-betting firm Sporting Index return a 25 fold increase in their political bets in the lead-up to the 2015 General Election.
SITA handled a four-month campaign, running in the lead-up to polling day on May 7. The campaign was devised to boost awareness of Sporting Index, increase political spread betting, and boost new account signups.
The PR and media relations work carried out produced hundreds of pieces of coverage across national and regional newspapers, broadcast, political and financial magazines, in addition to online outlets.
The resulting business impacts have included a 25 fold increase in political bets taken as compared to the 2010 General Election, and a 200% rise in new accounts, as compared to normal daily averages.
Sporting Index profits on the 2015 Election were in excess of £500,000.
