SITA Cheltenham Festival Tipping competition

We invited our clients and media contacts to partake in our own Cheltenham Festival Tipping Competition, with real cash prizes up for grabs for contestants that ended the Festival with the most profit.

It provided a good opportunity to engage with our media contacts ahead of the most important week in the racing calendar. The Sun’s Mark Nevin was our eventual winner, with Nick Robson and John Ingles taking second and third position respectively.

Filming with Star Sports ambassador Harry Skelton

We headed up to Dan Skelton’s yard in Warwickshire ahead of the Cheltenham Festival to film Star Sports ambassador Harry Skelton previewing the best of his rides over the four days.

It was a perfect chance to capture plenty of content to use in the build up to the Festival, giving Star Sports’ punters the inside track on the yard’s runners.

As it turned out, the Skelton brothers had a phenomenal week at Prestbury Park, with four winners in total – Langer Dan, Unexpected Party, Protektorat and Grey Dawning – and Star Sports’ audience were very lucky to hear it all from the horses’ mouth the week before!

Planet Sport Bet Cheltenham Preview Night

On behalf of Planet Sport Bet we helped organised their Cheltenham Preview Night in Ganley’s Irish Pub in Morden. The pub was decked out in PSB branding and welcomed a large crowd of enthusiastic punters, who packed in to hear from the panel featuring Planet Sport Bet ambassador Harry Cobden, Luke Harvey and Mick Fitzgerald among others.

We couldn’t have asked for a better panel of experts and the audience had a great many questions to ask them, and working alongside a team from Equine Productions we captured the best bits of the evening to use on social media.

Harry Cobden’s hilarious recollection of a race-riding injury to a sensitive region went down particularly well, gaining over 40,000 impressions on X.

World Pool at the Dubai World Cup

With four big runners representing Hong Kong at the Dubai World Cup meeting, we were back out in Middle East capturing content and handling social media on behalf of World Pool and the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

From 5am midweek trackwork to the closing fireworks on Saturday’s nine-race card, we worked closely with the HKJC to ensure Hong Kong punters were kept well-informed about their country’s hopes, while the World Pool account delivered live on-course content to its followers across the globe.

Both the @HongKong_Racing and @WorldPool X accounts hit over 1.5m impressions during raceweek in Dubai.

We’re now looking forward to a busy Flat season of World Pool races in the UK and Ireland, while the big focus with @HongKong_Racing will be FWD Champions Day at the end of April.
