Star Sports Creative Direction
Expanding and refining luxury bookmaker advertising materials

Overview
Operating as Star Sports’ primary marketing agency to create unique betting promotional materials for their social channels, website, and retail advertising.
Who are Star Sports?
Star Sports are the UK’s leading luxury bookmaker with over 25+ years industry experience.
As well as offering one of the highest quality bookmaking services, they also accommodate some of the largest bets struck in the industry.


Growing the brand to a wider audience
With our ongoing relationship with Star Sports, we have adapted and expanded the brand further, through its social channels and web content. We have continued to build a strong foundation for the brand with a wide range of assets and graphics, tailored to its exclusive sports offers.
Brand Guidelines
To maintain a consistent creative direction and application of the brand, we created a brand guidelines document, which included new font pairings, imagery styles and a bank of brand assets.
This allowed us to create a strong portfolio of creative outputs to enhance brand recognition and exposure.
Website Build
In 2022, we had the opportunity to work on a website build for Star Sports Extra, a supporting content hub.
The primary focus was to boost brand awareness online through engaging and informative sporting content. This included blogs from industry experts and brand ambassadors, promotional betting offers, video content and downloadable interactive documents.
We began our process by auditing the current site, providing insights to the client about how we can improve the styling and functionality of the site for all its users.
From here we wire-framed and designed a bespoke website to fit the requirements and needs of the client and its users with the help of our in-house development team.
Retail
With the introduction of the new brand guidelines, we rolled out new creative to the retail team working across Star Sports’ 17 shops to maintain a coherent brand system.
This included printed flyers and posters for promotional offers as well as weekly animated retail screens, for the worldwide sporting calendar.
Affiliate Advertising
To drive sales and generate significant online revenue, we produced a collection of animated affiliate banners highlighting their key offers and messaging. These were used across sites such as Racing Post through peak times.
We continue to work alongside Star Sports and provided them with the following creative outputs:

– Website Banners
– Affiliate Advertising
– Video Content
– Animated Social Stingers
– Website Design & Build
