First question

Who are you and what is your role?

I’m Lina Sennevall and I’m a Senior Account Director on the SITA B2B team. I have been at the company for just over four years.

Second question

ICE isn’t far away meaning it’s your busiest time of year, is there anything in particular you’re looking forward to this year?

The event will be back in its full capacity this year after a more subdued one last year because of Covid and I’m actually excited about how busy it will be and the craziness of it all. For someone who isn’t in the industry or has never attended ICE, it is a fascinating experience. As it brings together people from all around the world and all areas of the industry, it’s a fantastic opportunity to learn about the latest trends. I always leave with new ideas and inspiration.

Third question

You grew up in Sweden, what are Sweden’s best traits and why should we visit?

Nature is what I really miss, living in a large city like London. Just over 70% of the Swedish landscape is forest and we have beautiful mountains in the North and lots of lakes. My parents have a cabin near the Norwegian border and I always love going there, spending hours hiking followed by a sauna. I’m from a city called Gavle, famous for our Christmas straw goat that often gets burned down, so that is also a must see in December!

Fourth question

You love to travel and your Instagram is filled of beautiful shots from various countries, where has been the most interesting to visit and why?

I’m fortunate enough to attend industry events around the globe and I always try to get up early to explore the cities I go to. The most interesting journey of my life though is probably the two months I spent in Thailand when I was 18, as it was one of the first times I was away from home and it felt great to be independent and explore a country for such a long time.

Fifth question

Your website bio mentions true crime and your love for documentaries, what series would you recommend and why?

I spend a lot of time with my headphones in, listening to podcasts while walking to the tube or going to the gym! I listen to Swedish, English and American shows but one podcast that has stuck with me is the first series of Serial. Listening to that made me really fall in love with true crime.

Sixth question

You love to workout, what is the best motivation to get up and go to the gym in peak winter weather?

Putting on a good podcast! When I get roped into a good series it makes me want to find time to listen to it, and what better place to do it than the gym? An exciting true crime podcast will get you distracted from the hard work you have to put in.

Final Question

You’ve recently moved house, tell us about your new neighbourhood and your new local pub!

I now live in Shepherd’s Bush and to be honest, and I’m still getting used to the area. I live close to Ravenscourt Park so love going for a walk or a run there. It’s also very close to Chiswick and the river walk to Hammersmith is beautiful. Plenty of pubs around and if I had to pick a favourite it would have to be Princess Victoria!
