Social Team Senior Account Executive

Square in the Air is recruiting for an ambitious Junior Account Executive to join our team of Social Media experts. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of sports-led content for a variety of international sporting and gambling brands.

Role Summary & Key Responsibilities

You will work as a member of the Social Media team helping to drive our social media offering and deliver high-quality, creative and timely content for our clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee and write content for our client social media accounts

• Develop engaging, creative and innovative content for clients

• Create, run and optimise paid social adverts across all platforms

• Coordinate social media graphics with our design team

• Work with other teams and team members to deliver optimal results for our clients

• Analyse social media campaigns and gather data for inclusion in reports

• Find and negotiate influencers for use in campaigns

• Monitor, develop and write reports

• Work alongside Community Managers for out-of-hours shift work

Necessary skills & attributes

• A passion for sports, with an awareness of all UK, European and major worldwide sporting news and events.

• In-depth knowledge of the major social media platforms and spanning analytics, audience segmentation to advocacy of various ad formats, and bespoke content planning (paid and organic).

• Knowledge of how best to support client proposals, developing and executing creative content that meets clients’ business and brand objectives.

• Decision-making skills backed up by a proficiency in analysis and the measurement/optimisation of content effectiveness.

• Impeccable copywriting that extends beyond attention to detail and reflects the fundamentals of traffic/engagement driving, using concise calls-to-action and compelling, on-brand TOV.

• Be an evangelist for social media – possessing a deep understanding of the value of social for both B2C and B2B whilst working alongside PR and Design to deliver multi-platform strategies, on time and on budget.

• Confidence in presenting thoughts and findings and handling multiple fast-paced accounts simultaneously.

• Basic video production, graphic design and video editing skills.

• Knowledge of Google AdWords and the fundamentals of SEO/SMO.

• A keen interest in UK sports betting.

• Experience providing Social Media marketing for brands, whether at an agency or in-house.

Working Environment

• Contractual place of work is our London office based in Holborn – we currently operate a hybrid working pattern of at least two days in the office and the remaining days at home

• Hours: 40 hours per week, 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday (flexible start and finish times)

• Willingness to work outside office hours during evenings and weekends – compensated with overtime pay and time in lieu

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary (dependent on experience)

• Company pension scheme (subject to passing three-month probationary period)

• 25 days’ holiday per year plus bank holidays (extra days earned with length of service)
