B2C Diary February 2025
Launching Ryan Moore as a World Pool ambassador
As part of announcing Ryan Moore, one of the world’s greatest jockeys, as an ambassador for World Pool, members of the B2C team headed to Newmarket to film a range of content with the great man.
Moore answered questions to camera about his decision to become an ambassador for the Hong Kong Jockey Club-powered global pools, and we captured clips and content that featured on Racing TV and was shared on social media.

A press release was drafted with quotes seeded out to media, earning coverage in the Racing Post, The Sun and international racing and news publications from South Africa, Australia and Hong Kong.
The B2C team will also be producing a Ryan Moore blog ahead of each major World Pool meeting this Flat season.
Harry Skelton / Star Sports
We travelled to Dan Skelton’s yard in Warwickshire to film with Star Sports ambassador Harry Skelton ahead of the Cheltenham Festival.
We filmed previews with all of the yard’s main hopes for the Festival, with Harry nominating Be Aware in the Coral Cup as his best chance of a winner, as well as capturing content for a mini-documentary on the six most important horses in Harry’s life.
All previews are available to view on Star Sports’ website and social channels, helping to build anticipation and drive engagement for Star ahead of one of the key events in the horse racing calendar.

Star Sports: The Story of Salver
Tom Marriott and Ed Imi travelled with Ellie Lynch from the video team to visit Gary and Josh Moore at Ciswood Stables in West Sussex ahead of the National Spirit Day meeting at Fontwell.
Salver, one of the Moore’s stable stars, was set to run in the feature race of the day, The National Spirit Hurdle, with the full card at Fontwell sponsored by Star Sports.
The idea behind the visit was to create a mini-documentary around Salver, with interviews from both Gary and Josh, owner Keith Graves, jockey Caoilin Quinn, and groom Chloe, all in the name of raising awareness of Star’s sponsorship of the day’s racing.
Although the result on the day didn’t go Salver’s way, the end result of the video was fantastic, being used across social media channels as well as being picked up by local media and the Daily Mirror.

The Pools
We were thrilled to announce The Pools’ major relaunch, with the release of their marketing campaign, named “The Parents”.
The rebrand marks an exciting next chapter for the iconic UK betting company, combining a fresh brand identity and logo with a major out-of-home marketing and radio advertising campaign.
