AK Bets The Checkout
Overview
We created a YouTube content series featuring three darts legends for our client AK Bets. From previewing the 2024 Premier League Darts to discussing career highlights, the content covers everything darts.
Why?
AK Bets gave Square in the Air the task of creating an engaging YouTube content series centred around the 2024 Premier League Darts. We put forward a plan for an ‘intense’ panel set-up in a blackout studio, using lights and camera equipment to reflect the company’s branding and got to work bringing our vision to life.
The Checkout
The collaboration with AK Bets to produce “The Checkout” series resulted in four compelling episodes. This series aimed to captivate the AK Bets audience while delivering valuable insights into the world of online betting.
From conceptualisation to publication, this project saw teams across SITA collaborate. The social team worked to generate content ideas with the client while video focused on scouting a suitable location and hiring in props and lighting rigs to make the production really shine. Inspired by examples sent by the client, the SITA team created a set within a blackout studio in East London. We brought in LED lighting rigs which we used as background props to reflect the AK brand colours. Combined with the highest quality audio equipment, and further subtle branding added to the microphones; every step of the production process was meticulously planned and executed with precision.
The series was crafted to align seamlessly with AK Bets’ brand identity, offering a blend of entertainment and education. Our dedicated team scripted, filmed, and edited each episode, ensuring that every moment resonated with the audience.
The success of “The Checkout” underscores the power of strategic content creation in today’s digital landscape. By leveraging storytelling and audience insights, we were able to create a series that not only entertained but also resonated deeply with AK Bets’ followers.
The Result
Upon its release, “The Checkout” garnered significant attention across social media, with videos posted on AK Bets’ Twitter and in collaboration with Live Darts on YouTube. To date, the series has received four million impressions across all social media platforms. Viewers were drawn to the series’ entertaining storytelling and informative content, amplifying AK Bets’ presence online.
