CODERE SPONSORSHIP COMMS
Overview
Square in the Air supported this high-profile partnership through targeted B2B, Design and Social communications that reinforced Codere Online’s position as a leading operator.

B2B
We assisted in the distribution of the commemorative jersey announcement release, working with both Codere Online and Club de Fútbol Monterrey to time it strategically ahead of the tournament. This secured comprehensive coverage across trade publications, showcasing Codere Online’s commitment to authentic fan engagement and local market understanding.
We also facilitated in-depth interviews with CMO Alberto Telias that allowed the operator to articulate the strategic rationale behind its sports partnerships.
Our approach positioned the Club World Cup sponsorship within Codere Online’s broader sports portfolio including Real Madrid, demonstrating consistent investment in authentic fan experiences. We are proud to work alongside the Codere Online team who continue to leverage sports partnerships as genuine business development tools in their most important markets.
DESIGN
We were tasked on delivering an advert for Codere Online on the NASDAQ Tower situated on the corner of the iconic Times Square in New York City. We received exclusive images of the Rayados players from the team at Codere Online and started to piece together a storyboard. We added fast movements, close crops, transitions and textures to bring the images to life and drive the animation paired with Codere’s branding. Finally concluding with a text animation along with the Codere Online and Rayados logo lock-up.
Alongside our animation output we lead the social media creative for the sponsorship with reactive graphics on signings, upcoming fixtures and announcements (shown), these provide Codere Online with impactful visuals to run alongside their content.
SOCIAL
Our social team amplified the partnership across key channels, transforming press release messaging and utilising exclusive creative assets and transforming it into engaging content that highlighted Codere Online’s presence on the global stage. We positioned Sergio Ramos and his teammates at the heart of the campaign, leveraging dynamic photoshoot images and behind-the-scenes video content to maximise fan excitement.
In parallel, we showcased the Times Square tower advert as a symbol of Codere Online’s international visibility, crafting posts that underlined the scale and prestige of this activation. Through optimised copy, SEO-driven keywords, and strategic scheduling, we ensured each post not only celebrated the shirt sponsorship but also reinforced Codere Online’s reputation as an innovative brand in sports betting.
