First question

Who are you and what is your role at SITA?

I make up part of Square in the Air’s talented B2B team. As an Account Manager, I liaise with clients to support in shaping their PR strategies and create content that boosts brand visibility.

Second question

You are known as a big fan of travel and once spent half a year in Asia. What’s your favourite place you have ever been to and why does it stand out?

It might be a cop-out, but I’m going with a top two for different reasons. Borneo is one – tracking wild pygmy elephants and orangutans through the jungle was a real highlight. The other is China, just because of how unique it is. Watching the sunrise on the Great Wall was surreal.

Third question

As a big Manchester United fan, describe your best and worst experiences of following the Red Devils.

One of my best experiences was last season when we beat Rangers 2-1 at Old Trafford. Pockets of Rangers fans ended up in the United end, so you can imagine the scenes when Bruno bagged a last-minute winner. Worst? Every single passing day since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club.

Fourth question

Moving on to where the real football is played, tell us about your own career highlights.

Where do I start? And I don’t mean that in a good way. I have played senior football for my local side, Warlingham FC, since I turned 16, and the career highlight came at the end of the 2023/24 season, when I scored a late winner to seal the league title. I haven’t been scouted off the back of it just yet…

Sixth question

If you could pick any three acts to play at your ultimate, personal music festival, what would they be?

The Streets, Frank Ocean, and Maribou State.

Fifth question

You're a man of fine tastes when it comes to beer. What's your favourite tipple?

Finally, a proper question. I like a Czech beer, so Staropramen takes the trophy, with Budvar a close second. Honourable mentions to Asahi and Guiness.

Final Question

Finally, a quickfire question: what’s the best plate of food you’ve ever eaten?

The numerous plates consumed at Fazenda in Edinburgh. It was my first experience of a rodizio grill, and it changed my life forever.
