Creative direction and animation for White Hat Studio’s video at the SBC Infinity Party.

Who are White Hat?

White Hat Studios is a leading provider of online casino content, primarily slot games, for the US market. They specialize in bringing popular European brands and their own innovative titles, including their “Jackpot Royale” system, to online and increasingly, land-based casinos.

Direction

We started with a loose script and running order. After reviewing it, we suggested tweaks to the copy and offered alternative visual elements to enhance the video. We then developed an animation board to visualise our proposed amendments and define the animation’s direction.

Storyboard

Building on the script, we visualised each scene with a storyboard. This served as a great visual tool, allowing the client to see the animation taking shape. Given the video’s context— playing throughout a party —we matched that energy with fast-paced, snappy, and visually appealing animations.

Animation

With the storyboards confirmed we could start bringing the animation to life. The goal here was to deliver animations that would also fit the videos surroundings. We utilised smooth transitions between scenes, snappy typography animations & flashes of White Hat’s red and blue colour palette.
